Among the approximately 100 butterfly species found in Norway two are very rare migrators [bath white and clouded yellow] and another two are probably extinct [large tortoiseshell and niobe fritillary]. Of the remaining species about 82 are found in southern Norway. In this species gallery some species not found in the photo galleries are presented.
